MindClimb OT sessions, facilitated by an Occupational Therapist, combine therapeutic climbing with specific interventions focused on achieving the participant's NDIS goals. These sessions include individualised strategies and activities targeted to develop skills such as handwriting, self-care (e.g. tying shoelaces), executive functioning and social skills, fine and gross motor, emotional regulation, and sensory processing skills. An assessment and the participant’s NDIS goals are required to tailor the interventions. MindClimb OT sessions are available outside of regular MindClimb Afterschool hours.

MindClimb has helped my sons to build their confidence, resilience and persistence as well as their physical and social skills! It is the favourite night of the week at our house, and I highly recommend it. Melanie, parent
MindClimb has been an amazing program for our son. At the beginning, due to ASD, he was very shy and struggled to communicate. Through the program, he has had the amazing and brilliant support of the staff to develop these essential skills, including building his motor skills whilst always having the most fun. We couldn’t recommend it any higher. Cam and Meagan, parents
MindClimb has been very beneficial for my 2 boys with ASD. The staff have gone above and beyond to help them thrive and we have all noticed a huge difference. Each week, they really look forward to MindClimb. Kate, carer
