MindClimb Afterschool & 1on1

MindClimb is a fun, safe and therapeutic sensorimotor program for children with learning disabilities (e.g. ASD) that uses our vast variety of engaging climbing structures. MindClimb is an encouraging, non-competitive alternative to conventional sports. Children with additional needs complete closely supervised climbing exercises tailored to individual abilities. They also improve social behaviour and emotional regulation. Whilst parents relax with a tasty snack or barista coffee in our on-site café and watch the action above, children use heaps of playful energy and gain a wonderful sense of achievement.

MindClimb benefits:

  • Overall strength and functional fitness from a full body workout
  • Better fine and gross motor skills
  • Developed coordination and proprioception (spacial awareness)
  • Increased self-esteem and sense of achievement
  • Enhanced focus, behaviour and emotional regulation
  • Improved social interaction and communications strategies
  • Exciting, engaging and fantastic fun.

MindClimb Afterschool is a term based (10 week) brain and body development program with a weekly session on Tuesdays, Wednesdays or Thursdays.

MindClimb One-on-One is a private training session with a dedicated senior MindClimb instructor who works exclusively with the student to maximize their physical, mental and emotional development. Flexible times allow us to reduce relevant sensory distraction and promote increased learning and focus.
MindClimb is suitable for NDIS funding

MindClimb has helped my sons to build their confidence, resilience and persistence as well as their physical and social skills! It is the favourite night of the week at our house, and I highly recommend it. Melanie, parent

MindClimb has been an amazing program for our son. At the beginning, due to ASD, he was very shy and struggled to communicate. Through the program, he has had the amazing and brilliant support of the staff to develop these essential skills, including building his motor skills whilst always having the most fun. We couldn’t recommend it any higher. Cam and Meagan, parents

MindClimb has been very beneficial for my 2 boys with ASD. The staff have gone above and beyond to help them thrive and we have all noticed a huge difference. Each week, they really look forward to MindClimb. Kate, carer
